Unopposed Hukuman partylist bets were proclaimed Law Student Government (LSG) officers after dominating the first online LSG Elections held last Monday, September 20.
Aara Albon is the newly elected LSG President, with Janeth Abas as Internal Vice President, Jocel Cerezo as Secretary, John Paul David as Treasurer, Mark Philip Tandog as Auditor, Frances Dolina as Second Year Representative, and Marija Alexandra Felizardo and Karlos Hizon as First Year Representatives.
“I believe that the students deserve a law student government that is willing to listen and able to resolve their pressing issues,” Albon said during the oathtaking of new LSG officers yesterday, September 25.
“I thank the student body for placing their trust in me, and I assure them that we will meet the challenges ahead with enthusiasm and grit,” Albon added.
Meanwhile, Pauline Turiano and Michael John Abayon were appointed as External Vice President and Third Year Representative, respectively, following the vacancies in candidacies for the said positions.
The new set of LSG officers will serve for one year upon taking their oath of office.
