In keeping with the Bedan motto of Ora et Labora, the San Beda University College of Law (SBU-COL) faculty members had their annual recollection and retreat at the Mendiola campus last September 24.
After receiving the sacrament of reconciliation, Rev. Fr. Rembert Tumbali, OSB reminded the professors that learning is not confined to the classroom and the spiritual aspect should be tackled as well.
“If there is any impact we can do for our students. It should be to help them seek God,” he said during the holy mass.
The event also served as an avenue for the professors to catch up with one another. They likewise had a tour to the newly built Dean’s Office/Faculty Lounge and the improvements in the Abbey Church of Our Lady of Montserrat.
Dean Marciano “Rocky” Delson then suspended the classes for the whole day to allow both the professors and students to rest and prepare for the upcoming midterm examinations.
