The San Beda University-College of Law (SBU-COL) held a Testimonial Dinner and Bonfire Night in celebration for the 174 new Bedan lawyers, who successfully passed the 2022 Bar Examinations, last April 29 at the New Building.
SBU is the top-performing school with more than 100 first-time takers in the recent Bar exams, garnering a 97.58 percent passing rate, or 161 passers out of 165. SBU also placed as the second top-performing school with a 96.67 percent passing rate, or 174 passers out of 180 under the overall ranking category.
The Testimonial Dinner was led by Dean Marciano โRockyโ Delson. In his speech, Dean Delson encouraged the new lawyers to continue the Bedan excellence and values in the legal practice. The new Bedan lawyers then recited the Lawyerโs Oath. Rev. Fr. Rembert Tumbali, OSB, also prayed over them.
The celebration carried on with music, food, and performances. After dinner, Atty. Lyan David Juanico invited everyone to proceed to the Red Wall to witness the celebratory bonfire. The event was wrapped up by the singing of the Bedan Hymn.
